Behind Barletta:

Bill Fenech founded Barletta in 2017 with a focus on innovative products, superior quality, and a relentless passion for customer satisfaction and quickly built the company into a significant presence in the popular pontoon boat market segment.

1.) "You're going to have a quality product second to none. It's the best riding boat in the industry. It's a tight boat, and it's backed with a great warranty."

2.) “We won the most innovative pontoon in the world award, first year out. Kind of unheard of. We continue to innovate. We want good practical innovations that work, and will work repeatedly.”

3.) “We care about the customer, we listen to the customer. I have a saying, customer-focused, dealer-centric."

So what is Bill talking about when he says these things? This article will elaborate on the product quality, innovation, and customer/dealer relationships that Barletta has brought to the boating industry.

 Barletta has your back

1.) Best In Class Warranty and Build Quality

Barletta Lifetime Limited Structural and 10 Year Bow-To-Stern Warranty. Here's a rundown:

“Lifetime Structural”

Refers to the robust metal chassis below the deck and the metal that protects and holds firm Barletta premium products above the deck. And that Lifetime Structural warranty extends above the deck, with Barletta-built railings, gates, channels, frames, and more.

"Limited"

In "Limited Lifetime Structural" refers to the marine-grade plywood deck Barletta buys from a separate manufacturer, who’s given the deck a 25-year warranty.

"Ten Year Bow-To-Stern"

This includes everything that sits atop the deck. Aside from the Barletta structure like the flooring, the helm, the furniture, electronics, and more. They'll cover these products and components for ten years, regardless of the component manufacturer's warranty. What does this mean? If the stereo manufacturer offers a three year warranty, they go above and beyond and cover it for ten years. This is the commitment to customers and dealers like Marks Leisure Time Marine.

The Best Pontoon Boat Chassis

You will find many additional and necessary components Barletta has integrated and invented that affect the overall performance and functionality of the pontoon to achieve the smoothest and quietest ride in the industry. Internal reinforcement brackets, heavy-duty splash fins, lifting strakes, wave tamers, extended motor pad, extra long heavy-duty M brackets, I-Beam construction and Barletta patented VIP Technology, all contribute to this feat.

2.) Innovations in the Industry

VIP Technology

Vibration Isolation Pad Technology was developed to absorb vibrations and eliminate noise that comes from metal on metal clanking on the boat. This is critical in ensuring a quiet ride. Anywhere you will find metal on metal, and particularly the area where the M brackets are mounted to the plywood will have this material to mitigate and eliminate noise and vibration, which is a feature ONLY found in Barletta pontoon boats.

Doggy View Doors, Dog Tray

Your dog is part of the family too, and Barletta really took this seriously. With the thoughtful integration of a retractable dog tray into the helm, you'll have a dedicated area for your furry companion to have a sip and a snack! After utilizing the tray, you may find your dog looking through the doors of the Barletta that have been designed as a lookout for your dog, but can also extend vision to the driver who can see through the doors as well to give him just a bit more visibility of the bow of the boat while driving and maneuvering.

3.) Customer Satisfaction

Pre-Delivery Inspection Process

At Barletta, the final manufacturing phase is vital. It's called the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) – a thorough quality check other brands often skip. They start with detailed photos for you and our dealers. Then, trained inspectors carefully go through a 200+ point checklist, ensuring everything works perfectly. This process catches and fixes any issues, guaranteeing top-notch quality in every boat they produce.

Hand-Picked Dealership Network

Barletta had the ability to determine which dealerships matched their vision and relentless pursuit of customer satisfaction, which was Mark Meyers specialty here at Marks Leisure Time Marine. This critical step in ensuring all dealerships meet this standard of care determines the quality of service provided to you before and after purchasing a boat.

"The vision of the company and the team I assembled, we were able to choose the best of the best. A big part of the criteria was taking care of the customer." - Bill Feneck

Summer Season Helpline

Another way that Barletta extends its availability and connections within its network is by having a certified team of technicians ready to help boaters from Memorial Day to Labor Day in case of an emergency with your watercraft. This shows they will do what they can at all times to assist their customers throughout the entire boating journey.

The Barletta Standard

Those reasons weren't enough to make you believe Barletta has your back? Take into consideration that before Barletta, there hadn't been many thoughtful companies that made the customer central to the entire process of the operation. At Barletta, it's the only consideration taken every step of the the buying journey. When making a meaningful investment into a boat, knowing you're taken care of well after the point of sale is just as important as the quality of the boat itself. When it's in your DNA it becomes a standard.
